The Unit provides employment mostly to rural women particularly to widows, destitute and differently abled persons. The surplus of the unit is spent for the maintenance of children in Sowbhagya Illam (an Orphanage) run by Gandhigram Trust.  Indeed for every purchase you made, a portion of our income goes to lightening of the rural poor’s life.
